NOVA is Tara Theatre’s flagship playwriting programme and seed commission for writers of South Asian heritage or connections. It supports emerging and established writers to develop bold new ideas inspired by the themes of Tara Theatre’s future seasons, championing contemporary stories from across the South Asian diaspora.

As part of Tara Theatre’s commitment to developing artists and expanding the canon of British South Asian writing, NOVA provides writers with the opportunity to explore new work, develop their craft and share works-in-progress with audiences and the wider industry.
