Sidal Kekilli is a creative of Turkish and Kurdish descent, who acts, produces and writes spoken word, raised in London. Recently she fought for the right to protest in the National Theatre’s ‘Fly the Flag’ project where she performed her own poem. With the National Youth Theatre, she was in ‘Maryland’ as one of the furies. Further credits include ‘Where We Are: The Mosque’ at Arcola Theatre. Also, in ‘Identity’ with Phakama UK at Graeae Theatre, with her spoken word.
