A Somali Muslim writer and emerging theatre-maker based in East London, they are currently in their final year studying English with Creative Writing at Queen Mary University of London. Their work is driven by a commitment to amplifying POC, Muslim, and other marginalised voices on stage, with a focus on stories that centre identity, faith, and community.

With experience in writers’ rooms and directing workshops, they are particularly drawn to politically conscious theatre that is bold, nuanced, and socially resonant.
