Originally from Clonmel in County Tipperary, they spent the first 19 years of their life there before going on to study English Literature and Philosophy at University College Cork, graduating with a BA. They later moved to London to complete an MA in Directing for Film and Television at MetFilm School.

During their time at MetFilm, they began acting in a number of projects and have since made a decisive pivot towards performance. Following graduation, they completed the National Youth Theatre’s Stepping Up programme and have continued to write, direct, and act across a range of projects.
