SUPPORT COMES FROM ….

ALICE FRICK

Alice Frick is an award-winning stand-up comedian from Austria and Funny Women Finalist. She started her comedy career in Austria in 2006 where she performed on stages in Austria and Germany as well as on several TV shows. After performing in Los Angeles (e.g., Hollywood Improv, Comedy Store), she moved to London in 2011 and is a regular performer on the UK comedy circuit. She has just recently published her new podcast: Safety First.

SHORT SPOTS …

HAZEL DONOVAN

Winner of “Chucklmania Gong Championship” 2023 and “So You Think You’re Funny” Semi-Finalist 2024.

Hazel is a cocktail mixture of funny observation, smart one liners and storytelling with a dark twist. Using her experience of childhood growing up on a council estate in Birkenhead to recall the many colourful characters met along the way. She has a light hearted approach to the gritty realities of life.

NORMAN THE DAPPER RAPPER

The Dapper Rapper is the Spoken Word alter ego of former satirist Nelson David. Nelson wrote comedy for TV and Radio in the 90s including Spitting Image, Rory Bremner, Bob Monkhouse, Radio 4 and many others. Nelson gave up satire because as he says: “how can you write anything crazier or more demented than real life in 2025”?

All wonderfully hosted by the Funny Side’s resident compere GARETH KANE
