Sumayya Si-Tayeb is a British Sign Language interpreter providing access services for Deaf community primarily within the domains of arts and culture, live performances, Islamic settings and social justice.

Sumayya identifies as Muslim, neurodiverse and is of North African heritage with a mixture of Arab and indigenous Amazigh ancestry, which is a source of inspiration in her work with language, linguistics and translation. Her passions include classical Arabic grammar, etymology, learning new languages such as Thai and Swahili as well as open water swimming.
