Jeevan Ravindran is a journalist, performer and campaigner. She currently works for CNN, Thomson Reuters and CHAYN, and her passion is human rights stories from the Global South. Since July 2021, Jeevan has also hosted a biweekly radio show on BBC Asian Network, highlighting talent in the South Indian and Tamil communities. She was named Outstanding Young Journalist at the 2021 Asian Media Awards. As a performer, Jeevan has trained with the National Youth Theatre and starred in a number of plays and short films, and she also writes her own poetry and spoken word.
