Zahra Jassi (she/her) is an “an actor and playwright to keep an eye on” who works across theatre and film. She graduated from King’s College London’s Politics BA in 2021 and from Drama School with an MA Collaborative Theatre in 2022. Her debut play Honour-Bound received 4-star reviews at VAULT Festival 2023, was published by Nick Hern Books, and was nominated for the Origins Award. Zahra completed Soho Writer’s Lab in 2024, was shortlisted for Tara Theatre’s NOVA commissions in 2024, is a member of the National Youth Theatre and works with them as a Creative Leader, and is a member of the Almeida Theatre’s Youth Advisory Board where she focuses on equality, diversity, and inclusion.
