Pooja Sivaraman

Pooja Sivaraman is a Bombay-born, London-based playwright and theatre-maker. She is currently Creative Associate at Soho Theatre where she develops new writing talent for the theatre programme and cultivates partnerships within Soho Theatre India – a project of artistic exchange between London and Mumbai. She’s been part of the Royal Court Intro Writers’ Group (2021), the Royal Court’s Long Form Writers’ Group (2023), and the Soho Theatre Writers Lab (2022). Her plays (The Grand MarchWhite Town, and Kohinoorgasm) are absurd re-imaginations of the South Asian psyche which have been shortlisted for the Theatre503 International Playwriting Award and long listed for the Theatre UnCut political playwriting award. She also freelances as a director and drama facilitator, working with organisations like Clean Break, Coney, and Attic Theatre Company.
