Rakhee Sharma is a multidisciplinary artist. Being neuro-diverse since childhood, Rakhee has used movement to find her own unique physical language. Her movement is inspired by Somatic dance, Indian philosophy and physical theatre as a performer and director. Her movement career started in the Bollywood film industry; finding her feet as a Dancer and Choreographer. Rakhee trained as an actor at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where she was awarded the Laurence Olivier Bursary Award.

Credits include, as a Movement Director: Nora: A Doll’s House (Royal Exchange Theatre); Bitter-Enders (Arcola Theatre); Walden (Assistant Movement Director, Harold Pinter Theatre); Red Velvet, Sparks (LAMDA), and the short film Incompatible.

As an Actor, theatre includes: Wuthering Heights (Royal Exchange Theatre), If Not Now, When? and Macbeth (National Theatre); Television includes The Power, The Third Day, and The Long Shadow; and the film Incompatible.
