Pioneered cross-cultural “Binglish” theatre in Britain, where East meets West, with Tara Arts – which I founded with friends in 1977. Stepped down as Artistic Director in 2019 to pursue my own projects under Productions. Directing freelance at RADA, Central School of Speech & Drama, Exeter University & Goldsmiths so far. Also with B7 Media on a new radio serialisation of The Mahabharata called Mahabharata Now – a nine part series broadcast on BBC Radio 4.
