Sudha Bhuchar is an award winning actor/playwright with a long career in theatre, television and film. She is the founder of Bhuchar Boulevard, a theatre company whose inaugural show, Child of the Divide was shortlisted for the Eastern Eye, Arts & Cultural Award and won Best Stage Production at the Asian Media Awards, 2018.
Sudha appears in The Long Goodbye, the ‘Best Live Action’ Oscar winning short film directed by Aneil Karia with Riz Ahmed and in Mogul Mowgli directed by Bassam Tariq.
She is currently touring her own show Evening Conversations.
Sudha began her theatre and artistic career at Tara Arts and later co-founded Tamasha Theatre (along with Kristine Landon-Smith) and ran it until 2015.
Sudha Bhuchar received the Tongues on Fire Flame Award, 2018 for her contribution to Stage and Television.
