Echoes of Earlsfield was an epic new show created by the Meet Your Neighbours community theatre group at Tara Theatre, written in their own words and performed by them.
Journeying through Earlsfield’s past, present, and future, the piece traced the area’s evolution from its working-class Knacker’s Yard roots to the hopes and fears shaping its tomorrow.
Blending poetry, movement, song, and clowning, this intergenerational performance asked: what makes a place?
Echoes of Earlsfield celebrated community and explored how people from Earlsfield found their beacons of hope for the future.
Meet Your Neighbours continued into its second year, bringing together local marginalised older people experiencing social isolation and loneliness, and culminated in a community theatre performance at Tara Theatre in December 2025.
