Arti’s inclusive creative practice champions diverse voices and collaborative theatre with values based on human rights. She is currently leading research with Chichester Festival Theatre to develop projects for and with older people with and without memory loss, and devloping an acousmatic storytelling with Julia Schaurman. She was Spare Tyre Theatre Company’s Artistic Director/CEO for 19yrs and was acclaimed for her inspirational leadership. She is Co-Chair of CADA (Creative Ageing: Development Agency). She is Chair of The Amplify Project.

She received an OBE in 2022 for services to Arts and Dementia. She received a Tonic Award 2020 (inclusion and diversity). She is a Churchill Fellow 2013 (spirituality, dementia and ageing)
