Echoes of Earlsfield

A journey through Earlsfield’s past, present, and future.

A tabby cat strutting along the path to the Wandle through the fog

The rickety click clack of a lime bike

The echo of sounds of clinking glasses from the pub

Echoes of Earlsfield is an epic new show created by the Meet Your Neighbours community theatre group at TARA Theatre – written in their own words and performed by them.

Journeying through Earlsfield’s past, present, and future, the piece traces the area’s evolution from its working-class Knacker’s Yard roots to the hopes and fears that shape its tomorrow

Blending poetry, movement, song, and clowning, this intergenerational performance asks: What makes a place?

Echoes of Earlsfield celebrates community and shows how people from Earlsfield find their beacons of hope for the future.
