Zakiyyah is an actor, writer, VO artist and all around story-teller. She is a young black artist based in London with Afro-Caribbean roots. She tackles everything from socio-political issues to everyday topics with honesty, humility and a sprinkle of humour. Sometimes subtly and other times shouting it from the rooftops.

In regards to on screen work, her recent credits include SMALL AXE directed by Steve McQueen CBE and a recurring role on ENTERPRICE S2 for BBC THREE. Karia/starring Ben Whishaw.

Her writing has been published both online and in print for The Guardian × gal-dem, basement approved and sweet-thang zine. She is currently in early development with her 1st full length play and working on a few other creative bits behind the scenes.
