Mohit Mathur

Mohit Mathur is an Indian actor, dancer, and theatre maker. He is a graduate from the Drama Centre London and was recently seen in Life of Pi on the West End. He has been the lead Actor of the West End show “Beyond Bollywood” which saw him travel not only to the London Palladium stage but also to Europe, Algeria, Delhi – Kingdom of Dreams, performing in about 175 shows.

He was active in the Indian Film and Theatre Industry 7 years before moving to the UK. He is also a trained jazz, contemporary and Bollywood dancer and choreographer. In 2022, Mohit produced VRAG – a work in progress shows for Riverside Bitesize festival, written by Ivantiy Novak in response to Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

Since 2020, Mohit has been a part of the Flute Theatre Acting Company, led by Kelly Hunter

MBE – a project aiming at pushing the boundaries of performing Shakespeare to audiences

with autism. In 2022 he performed as a consultant and dance captain with the Welsh National Opera’s new opera “Migrations”, portraying the lives of migrants in the UK.
