Anna Lewis
Anna Lewis is a Performance Designer and occasional Costume Supervisor.
As a Designer Anna has worked at a wide range of venues including the Royal Opera House, Oxford Playhouse, The Kings Head, The Gate Theatre, The Park Theatre and The Arcola. Her work has been nominated for Off West Awards for Best Set (Anna Bella Eema at the Arcola) and Costume (After October at the Finborough); and Life According to Saki, which she designed for Atticist, won the Best of Edinburgh Award and transferred to the 4th Street Theatre Off Broadway. Other selected designs include Outlying Islands Kings Head Theatre, A Christmas Carol Reading Rep, A New Coat for Christmas Burton Taylor Studio, and EAST Kings Head Theatre. She was the Associate Costume Designer for Sing Street which premiered at the New York Theatre Workshop and has had work touring both nationally and internationally.
Anna was Lead Costume Supervisor for We’re Here Because We’re Here, created by Turner Prize-winner Jeremy Deller and Rufus Norris, Recent supervising work includes Wise Children’s Wuthering Heights designed by Vicki Mortimer and Straight Line Crazy and Book of Dust both at The Bridge Theatre designed by Bob Crowley. She assistant supervised English National Ballet’s Cinderella at the Royal Albert Hall, The Snow Queen for Tivoli Ballet in Copenhagen, designed by Queen Margrethe II, and The Inheritance, designed by Bob Crowley.
Anna was an inaugural recipient of the MGCFutures Bursary and was a Jerwood Young Designer 2016/17.
