Carla Ng
Carla Ng (she/they) is a Hong Kong-born, now London-based director/composer/multi-instrumentalist/creative working across music/theatre/film and performance.
Carla’s work is often absurd, honest and sarcastic at the same time, focuses on the essence of the human experience in a colourful and absurdist lens – magnifying tiny concepts into extraordinary spectacles, or combing mega concepts into a feeling.
Recently graduated with a first-class degree in Classical Composition from the Guildhall School of Drama and Music, studying under Amber Priestley and Matthew King.
In the present, Carla is in the process of joining the transgender mafia by learning how to DJ, collecting 0-hour jobs contracts and fund-raising for her Harp Concerto / Animated Film The Curious Adventure of Ms Basin.
