Tia (May) Watts is a 22-year-old actress, filmmaker, and creative dedicated to telling untold stories that amplify diverse voices in unexpected spaces. She is currently training at the Collective Acting Studio, where she has developed a strong appreciation for the collaborative, behind-the-scenes craft of theatre, with a particular interest in lighting and sound design.

Her screen credits include a leading role in a Lifetime US film alongside Cush Jumbo, as well as appearances in Casualty and Midsomer Murders. Alongside her acting work, Tia has also shadowed award-winning directors on set, further developing her skills as a director and producer.

In addition to her work on stage and screen, Tia is passionate about supporting emerging artists. In January, she co-launched the online magazine The Cherry Zine, a platform dedicated to showcasing new and upcoming creative talent. She is super excited to be part of Rukhsati again, contributing and improving her skills in lighting and sound.
