Shahreen joined Tara Theatre in June of 2025, before which she worked as a Community Assistant with Eat Work Art. Shahreen has a BA in Comparative Literature, a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design and has worked with The Regional Theatre Young Director Scheme as part of a Creative Access traineeship, The National Academy of Performing Arts (Pakistan) and Asia House.

Shahreen has also participated in the National Youth Theatre and is passionate about storytelling particularly on stage on and in film.
