Nusrath Tapadar
Nusrath is a Queer, Bengali Muslim actor from East London. After training at the Oxford School of Drama, she was nominated for an Off-West End Award for her role as Priya in The Light Trail at The Hope Theatre.
Nusrath’s theatre credits include: Nilima (lead) in Flowers, Stars and Conquerors, Zainab in My Life As A Cowboy, Naomi (lead) in Consumed, writer and performer in Nusrath Tapadar: Hijabi to Hoejabi to Nojabi, Yerma in Yerma and Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet.
Nusrath’s screen credits include: Jaysica in The Queen’s Fiddle and Florence in The Supplanter.
Nusrath is also a professional writer. Last year she wrote for ITV X’s Piglets and is currently developing her original sitcom for Clapperboard Studios while working on her second play as part of the Royal Court Playwriting Group.
