Alys Beider joined Tara as Executive Director and Joint-CEO in August 2025, having previously held the role of Executive Director at Multi-Story Orchestra. She has over 15 years’ experience in the arts, hospitality and venue management and has worked internationally with global majority and refugee communities in Mexico City and Austin, Texas. Alys also sits on the Board for Inspirate, a Leicester-based National Portfolio Organisation specialising in contemporary South Asian arts and culture.

Outside of Tara, Alys enjoys eating, cooking and lots of lots of music.
